Leading Alderney-licensed online poker site PKR.com has celebrated its fourth birthday by releasing a software update featuring a completely new user interface to make playing easier and more enjoyable.

PKR.com debuted in August of 2006 and its new Version 2.0 update also comes complete with an overhauled lobby that allows players to use a ‘game finder wizard’ to locate the titles and tournaments they want with a minimum of fuss.

“Version 2.0 of PKR.com has been in the pipeline for almost a year and it’s just the start of what we have planned,” said Leon Walters, Chief Operating Officer for PKR.com.

“Version 2.0 is all about making PKR.com easier and more enjoyable to play.”

PKR.com recently revealed that it now has over 3.75 million registered players and has given away just short of three million dollars in freerolls since premiering. To consolidate its position, its latest upgrade also features a new multi-tabling system that allows players to take part in up to nine tables at the same time.

“Version 2.0 marks a big step in the evolution of PKR.com,” said Simon Prodger, Marketing Director for PKR.com.
