The announcement Tuesday that the Ontario provincial government will enter the online gambling sector in 2012 appears to have triggered renewed interest in the possibilities for the Saskatchewan province. Macau casino revenues up 70% on July last year

The Macau Daily Times reports that, following a small slump in gambling revenues in June 2010, the operators on Macau enjoyed soaring revenues again in July, continuing the region’s impressive progress. Home Poker Game Robbed for Over $15,000

A home based poker game in Nanuet, New York, was robbed this weekend. Roughly $15,000 in cash was stolen, as well as other items. At approximately 12:30 AM, police traveled to a home on Avalon Gardens Drive after receiving a 911 hang up. police were told that five Hispanic males, each wearing hoods and bandannas, has robbed the nine poker players. TX poker tournament raided by FBI

Late Tuesday night, multiple law enforcement agencies got together to take down an underground poker tournament in Texas. The poker tournament took place in a shopping center in Houston. According to authorities, one of the stores was being used as a front for the poker tournaments. At approximately 10:30 PM, undercover FBI agents and deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office raided the store and made 14 arrests.
